CRIS restores 15 hectors of degraded farmlands
A Savannah Regional-based non-governmental organization (NGO), Centre for Rural Improvement Services (CRIS), with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), has restored 15 hectors of degraded farmlands under sustainable land management through an agroforestry plantation project in Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District in the Savannah Region.
CRIS organises farmer field schools and trains 90 farmers in climate smart cashew plantation in Dakompilayiri and Kunkuya
Centre for Rural Improvement Services (CRIS), a Non-Governmental Organization based in Damongo in the West Gonja Municipal of the Savannah Region has trained 90 farmers in Climate-smart Cashew Plantation Strategies under its Farmer Field Schools (FFS) program.
